Alessa holds a master’s degree in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is a bilingual LSW and pre-licensed Social Work Candidate in Colorado, who specializes in providing compassionate, culturally attuned behavioral health care. Alessa has spent the last three years at The Medical Center of Aurora North Campus, serving adolescents and families facing mental health challenges, focusing on group therapy in IOP and PHP settings using evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Psychoeducation into her work. Alessa is dedicated to supporting clients across the mental health spectrum. She is committed to reducing barriers to care and empowering clients through strengths-based approaches. Drawing on her multicultural heritage and fluency in Spanish, she creates inclusive therapeutic spaces that celebrate diversity and foster resilience.Outside her professional endeavors, Alessa enjoys spending time with family, traveling and exploring the outdoors through hiking, paddling, and snowboarding.
